to start things off i'd like to compare my feelings towards lenovo to the same feelings grizzly man had towards the parks and wildlife service during the last few minutes of his film... if you've seen grizzly man then you know what im talking about.
after reading the thinkpads forum response i decided to take action and cancel the order. later that day i checked my credit card and saw the 1003$ was refunded, i called capital one and confirmed with slumdogmillionaireish rep. so i went ahead and ordered an x300 from ebay. so this morning i call lenovo to confirm the 1003 was refunded. some idiot lady said my laptop was shipped and i should have received an "email confirmation" TOTAL BS!! i told her cap1 said the money was refunded etc. so i called cap1 again, the rep told me the 1003$ charge was still pending? of course i blew up on the lady telling her that rep told me otherwise last night. i ended up having to call levono again and the rep this time cancelled my order without trouble. WTF!!! so i asked him, are you sure its not shipped or in process? he said, very sure.
bottom line, i hate lenovo outlet but i love lenovo laptops.
